Jim Jarmusch is one of those big filmmakers that is totally down to earth and sweet in person. When listening to him talk about Iggy Pop and Robert Mitchum, he’s so funny and chill, like your best friend. Jim adds a hilarious quip on Iggy Pop wanting to keep the bonnet from his film, “Dead Man.” In each of the clips, Jim touches on music and how it’s his biggest inspiration, even noting that he believes he was supposed to be a musician himself. Jim was born on January 22, I’ve read that in astrology, being born on the 22nd day of the month tends to birth creative people. In the Q & A for his movie, “Only Lovers Left Alive,” Jim says that for him, the filmmakers that inspire him have a great sense of intuition, rather than a massive intellect.
