In a new biography this year, the New York Times art critic Blake Gopnik called Andy Warhol the 20th Century’s most important artist. Obviously, such a declaration takes in far more than the visual aspect of Warhol’s art. In his continuing “Things You Should Know” video series, Billy Hough pursues this possibility by examining Warhol’s massive influence over many art forms: film, literature and music.

Billy Hough is in the GarageDogs and Scream Along with Billy. He has contributed several articles to Please Kill Me, including an earlier one about Andy Warhol.
