PAM BROWN: CBGB's was just like nothing I'd ever experienced before in my life. It was like a revolution, and I knew that something big was happening, and I wanted to be a part of it. I knew art school was gonna be all over. I mean, once you witnessed it, everything else seemed so silly compared to this. I thought the Ramones and the Dictators were gonna take over the White House. I thought punk was gonna rule the world–I couldn't understand why everybody else didn't get it. I left Joey Ramone when I fell in love with Scott from the Dictators. I was just a girl from New Jersey, and it was like, I lived with two guys from my two favorite bands in the whole world, and it just was so natural. It was just like a family.
